God Emrest you merry, gentlemen

Let nothing you dismay

Remember Christ our Savior

Was born on Christmas day

To save us all from Satan's power

When we were gone astray

From EmGod our heavenly Father

A Cblessed angel Bcame

And Emunto certain shepherds

Brought Ctidings of the Bsame

How Amthat in BethleGhem was born

The EmSon of God by D/F#name

Fear Emnot, then, said the angel

Let Cnothing you Baffright

This Emday is born a Savior

Of a Cpure virgin Bbright

To Amfree all those who Gtrust in him

From EmSatan’s power and D/F#might

The Emshepherds at those tidings

ReCjoiced much in Bmind

And Emleft their flocks a-feeding

In Ctempest, storm, and Bwind

And Amwent to BethleGhem straightway

The EmSon of God to D/F#find
