He lGeadeth me, O bClessed thought

O Emwords with heavenly cDomfort fraught

WhateG'er I do, whereC'er I be

Still ’Emtis God’s hand that lDeadeth Gme

SomeGtimes ’mid scenes of dCeepest gloom

SomeEmtimes where Eden’s Dbowers bloom

By wGaters calm, o’er tCroubled sea

Still Em’tis God’s hand that lDeadeth Gme

And wGhen my task on eCarth is done

when,Em by thy grace, the viDctory won

And dGeath's cold wave I wCill not flee

since EmGod through Jordan lDeadeth Gme
